The High Court has ordered that all bank accounts of the two Mushfiqa sisters and Mobashera’s father, the late Mostafa Jaglul Wahid, who were present at the discussion in front of their home in Gulshan, be closed until further orders are issued.

Justice Md. A virtual high court made up of Nazrul Islam Talukder and Judge Ahmed Sohail approved the order on Monday. At the same time, neither party will be able to remove belongings from the house in Gulshan (No. 95A-2) and the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Gulshan Police Station was ordered to keep the two sisters safe.

The report was published in Prothom Alo on October 25 under the title “Location of two sisters in front of the house in Gulshan.” In view of the media reports on the matter, the same Superior Court court issued the order on October 26 with a self-motivated rule.

According to the court order, the police delivered the two sisters to the home that night and deployed the police for safety.

On November 3, the High Court ordered the court to submit an affidavit in the form of affidavits in support of the property claim of Anju Kapoor, the two sisters, and their father’s second wife. Consequently, the matter went to a hearing today. The court has set December 3 for the next hearing.
