A 16-year-old girl was reportedly raped on a moving bus from Taqwa Paribahan in Gazipur. The girl was hawking on the bus. The incident took place in the Bhannara area of ​​Kaliakair on Saturday night. Joydebpur police arrested the bus driver in the incident. The victim filed a case against the bus driver and his assistant at the Joydebpur Police Station. The one arrested is Saddam Hussein, 22, the son of Suruj from the Bagta area of ​​the Sreevardi Police Station in Sherpur.

According to sources in the case, the girl’s home is Jamalpur. With his family, he sells chocolates on a passenger bus from Kabirpur in Ashulia. The Taqwa Paribahan bus on the Chandra-Chandna crossing route in Gazipur’s Kaliakair upazila sold chocolates around 9pm on Saturday. At one point, the bus reached the Chandna junction with passengers. Although the passengers got out, the driver and aide did not leave the girl and took the empty bus to Chandra again.

They stopped the bus at the flyover in the rural electricity area of ​​Kaliakair and made a bad proposal to the girl. If he disagreed, the dozen would grab him and rip his clothes. When the teenager began to scream, the patrol police began to advance. At that moment, the driver and aide covered his face with a veil and the driver started driving towards Chandra. The police chased the bus.

The bus driver made a U-turn from Chandra and entered Bhannara-Phulbaria (secondary road) with a beehive and started to flee. On the way, her assistant Sharif Hossain (20) raped her more than once. When the bus arrived at the Membarbari bus stop in Gazipur Sadar upazila, the patrol police from Joydebpur Police Station signaled for it to stop. When the bus stopped at the police barricade, Sharif escaped, but the driver, Saddam, was arrested by the police. The victim was rescued from the bus.

Gazipur Police Chief Joydevpur said. Jabedul Islam said the girl filed a case overnight. The detainee Saddam appeared to be arrested in the case. The victim has been sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed University Medical Hospital for a medical examination.
