Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are receiving messages of congratulations from political leaders around the world for winning the US presidential election. Qatar was joined by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Crow and Rahul Gandhi, a senior leader of India’s main opposition congress. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also congratulated. But many world leaders are still silent.

According to Al Jazeera, leaders who did not congratulate Biden include Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Brazilian President Zaire Bolsonaro and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They are still silent.

Biden also missed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also refrained from congratulating Biden.

Biden received 290 electoral votes. With 280 votes, the president of the United States can be elected. So Joe Biden is the next president of the United States. Biden will become the oldest person in American history. He was elected at the age of six. Although he has not yet formally sat in the White House mosque.
