Lawyer Jumman Siddiqui, who failed the admissions test as a lawyer, received a certificate as a lawyer from the High Court and the High Court declared the publication of the Bangladesh Bar Association newsletter valid.

The court also entered a contempt of court judgment against lawyer Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon and lawyer Ishrat Hasan at one stage of the court case hearing.
