The special session of parliament on the occasion of the year of Mujib started on Sunday

A special session of the Jatiya Sangsad on the occasion of the year of Mujib will begin at 6 pm on Sunday. This will be the tenth session of the XI Parliament.

The session was supposed to be held in March, but was postponed due to the coronavirus. The main focus of this session is a special discussion on Bangabandhu.

The ninth session of the XI National Assembly ended on September 10. Due to the coronavirus, the ninth session was held with the parliamentarians appointed in accordance with health regulations. The attendance of 60 to 70 deputies is ensured every working day. Due to the coronavirus, the seats are arranged with a gap in the middle.
Other than that, everyone who attended the session had a crown test done. Members of Parliament and officials and employees of the Secretariat of Parliament must attend the session with a Crown Negative Certificate.
