His party, the Republican Party, has been embroiled in controversy over allegations that President Donald Trump tampered with the vote count. While some of the top GOP leaders have defended President Trump’s baseless accusations, many party leaders do not support him.
When the split among Republican leaders erupted, President Trump’s two sons attacked some of the party’s leaders with sharp language.
Wrath of Trump’s sons
According to the BBC, as Donald Trump fights for re-election, his two sons have lashed out at Republican leaders, saying they didn’t support Trump enough. Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., said Republican leaders’ support for his father was “weak.”
“Our voters will never forgive him,” said Eric Trump, the youngest son, warning Republican leaders. The comments by Trump’s two sons are creating discontent within the Republican Party among leaders who follow President Donald Trump and those who do not support his position.
Trump’s eldest son has political aspirations. He was angry with those who might seek Republican nominations in the 2024 elections. In a tweet, he wrote: “The total inaction of all those who hope for 2024 is very surprising.
In his words, ‘If they wanted to do something, it was the right platform for them. But they have succumbed to media fears. Do not worry. The real Trump will fight and watch as usual. ‘
The utter inaction of virtually all “2024 GOP hopefuls” is quite surprising.
They have a perfect platform to show that they are willing and able to fight, but instead they will cower from the media mafia.
Do not worry @realDonaldTrump they will fight and watch as usual!

Trump’s eldest son wrote it in response to a tweet by far-right American writer, political commentator and one of Trump’s supporters, Mike Carnovich. In that tweet, Karnovic criticized former US ambassador to the United Nations Nicki Haley. In 2024, Haley may seek a nomination from the Republican Party.
Trump’s eldest son wrote: “Republicans have been weak for years. That’s why leftists can do all this. Meanwhile, President Trump’s youngest son, Eric Trump, wrote on Twitter: ‘Where are the Republicans? the column. Fight fraud. Our voters will never forgive you. “
Those who have sided with Trump
Lindsay Graham, close to Trump, supported Trump’s statement. Although at first he was silent. But Trump’s son criticized him for his silence. Graham then came forward to support Trump’s statement. “I am here to support President Trump,” he told Fox News.
Graham also made some offensive comments on his Twitter account directed at Democrats. Lindsay Graham is a well-known Republican leader. He was reelected to the Senate of the United States House of Representatives by the state of South Carolina. He is one of Trump’s staunchest supporters.
My advice to @AOC – Stand firm and be more aggressive in pushing the Dem Party towards the socialist agenda.
Don’t be shy about leading your group even further to the left and certainly don’t allow the Claire McCaskills of the world to silence your voice. https://t.co/nBOJNzSEIZ

Another senior Republican, Kevin McCarthy, echoed President Trump’s sentiments, saying, “All Americans should stand up to this. We should tell them if they see anything wrong. You will not be silent about this. We cannot allow such irregularities to occur. in front of our eyes. ”
Democratic candidate Joe Biden is now on the brink of victory, although the final results of the US elections have yet to be announced. On the other hand, without any proof, President Trump has threatened to go to court against the vote counting, alleging irregularities in this election. The Trump camp has also filed lawsuits in several states.
Those who don’t support Trump’s statement
Republican leader and Senator Mitt Romney and Maryland Republican Governor Larry Hagan warned against undermining the democratic process, the BBC reports. The Washington Post quoted Mitt Romney as saying that counting every vote is important to democracy.
The leader of Trump’s party added: “The votes will be counted. If there is any allegation of wrongdoing, it will be investigated and the final decision made in court. Trust in democracy, trust our constitution and the American people.” Mitt Romney is known in the party as a critic of Trump.
“The president (Trump) is ignoring our political process and questioning the legitimate views of Americans without any evidence,” said Will Hard, a Republican leader in Texas. It is not only dangerous and wrong, but also to ignore the foundation on which our nation stands. ‘
For the past four years, Trump has run the Republican Party however he pleases. He has more than 90 percent support from his Republican nominees. The controversy that has now erupted within the party between President Trump and others is a big question mark as to what direction the party will take after Trump’s departure.
