A case has been brought against an 80-year-old man named Enayet Ali for allegedly raping a madrasa student (10) in Chaugachha, Jessore. The case was recorded at the Chaugachha Police Station at 9:10 pm on Wednesday. The victim’s father filed the case as a plaintiff.
The girl’s father claimed that a few days ago, his daughter fell into the yard and began to vomit out of fear. At that time, his neighbor Kabiraj Enayet Ali (60) went to his house with others and said that he had caught the girl in the jinn. It’ll be fine if you screw it up. According to him, every Saturday and Tuesday, the girl is taken to the Maniktala Dargah (there is a bell tree) with her mother to be scrubbed. On the way, the Kabiraj told the boy’s mother that no one else could be present during the cleaning.
The boy’s father said: ‘So my wife Enayet Ali and my daughter were waiting in front of a man’s house in Indrapur village. But Enayet Ali did not take my daughter to Maniktala and raped her in the guava garden of a man from Indrapur village. So in the last month, he raped my daughter in the same guava garden every Saturday / Tuesday in the name of treatment for 6/7 days on behalf of Jharfunk.
The boy’s father further said: ‘On August 5, Enayet Ali said, the geniuses will go away once they blow the whistle one more time. Later, on August 16, my daughter brought the matter up to her mother. Even then, thinking of respect, we took him to a private clinic in Chougachha city through a local doctor and we treated him and brought him to his madrasa. But when the defendant Enayet Ali went to the madrasa around 3:30 pm on October 25 and introduced himself as my daughter’s uncle and told me about my wife’s illness, a madrasa teacher informed us on his phone mobile. We forbid giving the girl with him. Later, we take the girl home.
When the victim went to the girl’s home, she also told the reporter that she had been raped. He also said that Enayet raped him for seven days. He says, ‘I want your justice (from Enayet Ali).’
The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of Chaugachha Police Station, Rifat Khan Rajib, confirmed the matter and said the victim was a resident of a village near the Indian border in Upazila and a third-class student from a madrasa in the city of Chaugachha. He was rescued and sent to the 250-bed Jessore hospital for a medical examination. An attempt is being made to arrest the accused.
