Two boats made by the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation floated on Lake Jatiya Sangsad on Thursday afternoon.

He said the two ships were built under the supervision of Professor Anisuzzaman from the Institute of Fine Arts at Dhaka University. He designed it too. Later, the famous artist Hashem Khan did some addition and subtraction.
Ram Chandra said the two ships were built with the final approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “We have given it to the Secretariat of Parliament. They will take care of that now.”

The Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mahbub Ali, said: “Victory in the 1970 elections under the leadership of Bangabandhu was secured through the symbol of the ship. At present, the Awami League, under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, has won with the symbol of the ship.
“The symbolism of the country has been highlighted through the symbol of the ship. Through this Bangabandhu, Bengali golden culture and civilization has been highlighted. Bangabandhu used to keep in touch with ordinary people through boats and inspire people in the struggle for liberation.
Whip Iqbalur Rahim, Whip Shamsul Haque Chowdhury, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism RM, Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury, MP Nahid Izahar Khan, Syeda Rubina Akhter, among others, also spoke on the occasion under the chairmanship of Parliamentary Secretary Zafar Ahmed Khan.
