Muhammad Khairul Islam joined the RAB forces in delegation on September 19, 2019 and assumed the position as Commander of RAPID-12 Action Battalion on November 14 of that year.
He traveled from Uganda, the United States, the United Kingdom, and India for various trainings and other government assignments. His role in keeping his subordinate forces duty free in the country’s Corona epidemic was appreciated by all quarters. It also had a unique role in ensuring lockdown, home quarantine, and social distancing. It also carried out massive relief activities that included food to help affected people.
