The managing director said: “DESCO will cut off power to the area for eight hours in a row to provide an improved and uninterrupted power supply to customers in the area. At this time, I sincerely apologize for the suffering of customers. “We will try to restore the power supply in six hours,” he said.
DESCO said in a statement that the stadium’s switching substation in Mirpur will be maintained today (November 5), the first day of maintenance. The power supply to Mirpur Stadium and the Krira Palli Complex was cut off from 8 am to 4 pm.
The Kakli SS substation will be repaired on November 8. There will be no electricity on some roads in Gulshan, the southern part of Banani Bazar from the Kakli bus stop, Banani Post Office and various Banani roads.
The next day, November 9, the SS Dakshin Khan substation will be repaired. There will be no electricity on this day. , Fazirbatan, Taltala Uttarkhan, Miyapara, Puranpara, Kuriparartek, Barbagh, Faidabad, Termukh, Hindupara, Snanghat, Gudaraghat, Chapanertek, Dakshin Khan Bazar and adjacent areas.
On November 11, Uttara Grid SS and Tongi-3 SS will be renewed. There will be no electricity on this day on some roads in Sector 11 of Uttara, Uttara Sonargaon Janpath, Sector 12 of Uttara. On the same day, there will be no electricity in Tongi Thana, Tongi Railway Station and some areas of Tongi.
The following day, November 12, the Mirpur SS2, Mohakhali SS and Kalachandpur switching substations will be repaired. There will be no electricity on this day. , B Hospital, from Setu Bhaban on the east side of Kakli Bus Stand Airport Road, some roads in Baridhara K Block, part of UN Road and from Norda to Kuril Biswaroad via Pragati Sarani.
Agargaon New SS, Mirpur DOHS SS, Gulshan-1 SS, Dakshin Khan substation will be repaired on November 15th. On this day, there will be no electricity on several avenues of Mirpur DOHS, 23, 24, 26, 21, 30, 26 and some roads of Gulshan-1.
Additionally, there will be no electricity in West Agargaon, Water Tank Junction, District Elections Office, LGED Zonal Office, Barek Mollah Junction, Kashem Shop, North Pirerbagh, Mike Shop, Shewrapara Ananda Bazar and adjacent areas.
The BSIC substation in Tongi will be repaired on November 18. There will be no electricity on this day in the surrounding areas, including the east side of the BSIC water tank.
ADA SS will be repaired on November 16. There will be no electricity in Kawla Mollabari, ASEAN City Road, Ashkona, Hajikamp and surrounding areas.
Bashundhara SS, Mirpur SS-2 will be repaired on November 19. Most of the residential areas of Bashundhara, IUB, North-South University, Grameenphone offices, Jamuna and Jugantar will be without electricity on this day. Additionally, there will be no electricity at Mirpur Independent Super Market, Shah Ali Bagh, Muktijoddha Complex, Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Ansar Camp adjacent to Mirpur-1, Delta Hospital and the residential areas of Tolarbagh.
The next day, November 22, the Health Science SS, Gulshan-1 SS, Double SS, Millgate Switching substation will be repaired. On that day, there will be no power at DCC Market and Gulshan Avenue, including several highways on Gulshan-1. On the same day, there will be no electricity in the residential area of Pallabi, Grameen Telecom Trust building, Olympia and Jerin Textile, Ansar Camp, Tolarbagh, Kalyanpur Natunbazar, Jhilpar slums.
The Baridhara substation will be repaired on November 23. There will be no electricity in Shahjadpur, the US Embassy, the Japanese Embassy and China and the surrounding areas, including North Badda Hajipara.
On November 25, the Jowar Sahara SS, Tongi-3 SS and Uttara network substations will be repaired. There will be no electricity this day in Kuril Bishbrod, Radisson Hotel, Manikdi, Barantech, Balughat, Lichubagan, Shewra Bazar, Kamarpara Road, Ijtema Math and sectors 12, 13, 14 of Uttara, Diabari and some other areas.
Mirpur-6 section substation, SS-3 switching, New Tongi network substation will be repaired on November 26. On this day there will be no electricity in the National Heart Foundation, Kidney Foundation, National Housing, Sanofi Factory, Barbagh and the surrounding areas.
Cantt Park and Civil Aviation Switching, the Dhamalkot substation and the Nikunj substation will be repaired on November 29. There will be no electricity on this day at the army chief’s residence, from the army headquarters to the garrison mosque, the cantonment area, the National Foundation for the Development of Disability, the Homoeo Medical College, the area of Vasantek Police Station. The last Uttara SS and Tongi-2 SS will be repaired on November 30. On this day there will be no electricity in some areas of Section 4 and 6 in Uttara, on both sides of the Azampur to Abdullahpur highway, in the Kanthaldia, Gazipura and Bagairtek areas.
