New airline ‘Vistara’ on the Dhaka-Delhi route

Speaking at the opening function, Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswamy said: “It is a great pleasure that Tata Sia is operating flights again and connected with Bangladesh. Connectivity between Bangladesh and India will increase with the launch of Vistara Airlines. This will add a new dimension to the aviation industry in the region. Bangladeshi passengers can easily travel to India with Vistara Airlines. ”

Vistara Tata Sia Airlines operates a total of 43 flights worldwide in a joint venture between India and Singapore, Vistara representative Kaizad Pesi Postwalla said. Tata Company of India has a 51 percent stake here and Singapore has a 49 percent stake.

At the moment, the Dhaka-Delhi route will operate two flights a week on Sundays and Thursdays under the Air Bubble Agreement. It will depart Delhi at 9am and depart at 10pm.

The first flight from Delhi with 60 passengers landed in Dhaka at 10.30am on Thursday and will return to Delhi at 7.30pm with 70 passengers, the official said.
