Voting in the US presidential election has ended in several states so far. The count is happening in the states. The states now await the results after the elections.
Analysts are particularly interested in Georgia’s results, because it is a “battlefield state.” The state is expected to be the scene of a fierce battle between incumbent Republican President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden. Georgia has 18 electoral votes.
Voting ends today in parts of Indiana and Kentucky.
In those parts of the state of Kentucky, long lines of voters were also seen in the centers at night. And Indiana is the home state of Vice President Mike Pence.
Both are traditionally Republican states, and in both cases Trump is expected to win.
