Voting begins in the United States for the presidential elections

Voting for the US presidential election has officially begun. Voting begins at 6 am local time on Tuesday. Voting is ongoing in New York, New Jersey and Virginia, according to US media reports.

An earlier poll by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal found that 52 percent of the nation’s registered voters support Biden and 42 percent support Trump.

Final pre-election results show that 12 of the most competitive states in the United States are Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In all, 51 percent of voters in those states support Biden and 45 percent support Trump.

Meanwhile, the results of the US presidential election have been found in a small town in New Hampshire. Here, Democratic candidate Joe Biden got all the votes. And Trump got zero votes.

This town is Dixville Notch. Adjacent to the border between the United States and Canada. According to a long tradition, residents vote immediately after midnight.
