On Monday night, Khalilur Rahman went to the girl’s home around 9 pm and raped her. At that moment, his uncle entered the room and saw the scene. When Khalilur Rahman tried to flee, his neighbors arrested him, beat him and tied him to a tree overnight.
Upon receiving the news, a group of RAB members from the RAB Jamalpur camp went to the site on Tuesday afternoon, rescued Khalilur Rahman tied to a tree, and brought him to the RAB camp. Subsequently, the police inspector in charge of the local Narayanpur Research Center, Abdul Latif, visited the site. The police have taken the raped girl to the Sadar police station for further legal action, including a medical examination.
