Dhaka: The cabinet secretary, Khandaker Anwarul Islam, has said that the government is not thinking about it even though it has been blocked due to the increase in the incidence of the corona virus in different countries of the world during the winter season.
Instead, the government is emphasizing the use of masks to protect itself from the crown and has instructed that no public or private services will be provided without masks.
In the current Corona situation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given strict instructions to implement ‘No Mask No Service’.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam made the remarks at a briefing in the Secretariat after the virtual cabinet meeting on Monday (November 2).
The virtual cabinet meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Ganobhaban and other members of the Secretariat Cabinet.
The Cabinet was briefed on the progress in the formulation and implementation of various incentive packages under the direction of the Prime Minister with a view to economic recovery from the catastrophic outbreak of the global Corona virus epidemic.
When asked if the government was thinking of imposing a blockade on the movement again, the cabinet secretary said: “Not yet.” We are not in such condition by the grace of Allah. If we all wear masks, we can stay in the comfort zone. This is what the Prime Minister was saying today.
“It just came to our notice then. In no way should the service be available to governmental and non-governmental organizations without a mask. We have sent those instructions to all offices. Any public place will have these strict mask guidelines.
The cabinet secretary said that the second wave of Covid was still being discussed today. Since the situation in America and Europe is very bad. The top country in Europe has closed. England and France have blocked. In France, Allready has announced that no one can leave home without permission. If you want to go out, you need to get permission first, you will also get permission for one hour. No one can go beyond a kilometer. Everyone leaves Paris, about 600 kilometers are stuck.
So, considering these, the Prime Minister has specifically instructed that the way we are is comfortable, but there is no reason to be satisfied with that. Everyone must be careful. Especially “No mask, no service” – must be implemented comprehensively. It must be guaranteed in any social movement, campaign or legal route. Somehow no mask so that no one comes anywhere.
