Azerbaijan says a self-proclaimed president of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, Araik Harutunian, was killed in a drone strike.

The country’s news agency Hakayak Kafkaz reported that the self-proclaimed president of Karabakh, Harutunian, was killed in an Azerbaijani drone attack on his military convoy. However, the news agency did not say when the incident occurred and how much Baku had confirmed.

Furthermore, Armenia has not yet responded. The self-proclaimed president of Karbak, Araik Harutunian, said on Saturday that he would shoot himself in the head if Azerbaijan took control of the Shusha area in Karbak.

The conflict between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan and Armenia has been going on since September 26. The Nagorno-Karabakh region is internationally recognized as a territory of Azerbaijan. But Armenian-backed terrorists have occupied the region for decades.

Russia has called for a two-state ceasefire to end the ongoing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, but it has never been fully implemented. However, efforts to establish peace continue. Parstude
