Locals rescued journalist Golam Sarwar from a crocodile in Sitakunda three days after he disappeared from the metropolis of Chittagong. He was found by the canal in the Barakumira cattle market area around 6:30 pm on Sunday.

The locals rescued Golam Sarwar and informed the president of the Kumira Union Parishad, Morshed Hossain Chowdhury. The president informed the police. Sarwar was taken away by police around 8pm.
