The Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Zahid Ahsan, presented the award to the winners of this year’s Bangabandhu National Youth Award on behalf of the Prime Minister at a function organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The award was given to 21 self-reliant youth and 5 successful youth organizations in recognition of their special contribution to youth employment.
The secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mohammad Akhter Hossain, delivered the welcoming speech. Saifur Rahman and Samia Rahman expressed their feelings on behalf of the award winners.
Commemorative stamps and envelopes were also released on the occasion of Bangabandhu National Youth Day-2020. The day is celebrated throughout the country under the motto ‘Call for the Mujib Year, Youth Employment’.
