Another doctor died of a coronavirus infection. Professor Dr. MA Jalil is a former director of Mymensingh Medical College. With this, 101 doctors died from coronavirus infection or coronary symptoms.
Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), a national organization of doctors, said in a message of condolence. MA Jalil died in the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka at midnight on Thursday. He was 80 years old. After graduating from Dhaka Medical College, this doctor has served as director of Kumudini Women’s Medical College as well as Mymensingh Medical College. At the time of his death, he left many fans, including his children. The BMA extends its condolences to the grieving family and seeks the forgiveness of the deceased soul.
According to the BMA, eight doctors died of coronavirus this month. Additionally, 8,092 people in the healthcare sector across the country have been infected with coronavirus as of Saturday. Among them, 2,753 are doctors, 1,097 are nurses and 3,271 are other health workers.
