Muslims have organized protests against French President Emmanuel Macron in several Indian cities. The entire Muslim community in France is outraged that a recent fictional cartoon has been shown in France insulting the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the country’s president has spoken in support of it.
President Emanuel Macro has publicly announced that the printing of such cartoons will never stop in France. He also said that Islam is in crisis all over the world.
Thousands of Muslims gathered at Iqbal Maidan in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday to protest against the French president. The protest rally was organized by the MLA Arif Masud Congress. Speaking at the rally, MLA Congress Arif Masood asked the Indian ambassador to France to file a protest against the “anti-Muslim” stance of the ruling party on behalf of the central government.
He accused President Emanuel Macro at the time of supporting the satirical cartoons of the beloved Prophet (PBUH) and of deliberately hurting the feelings of Muslims.
MLA Congress Arif Masood said that the President of France had injured Muslims living in India, so the decision of the Prime Minister of India should be taken now that we should stop importing and exporting from France. Muslims who joined the protest in Bhopal chanted “Allahu Akbar” that day. Black flags were also displayed from the protest stage. Later, a photo of the president of France was also burned.
On the other hand, the administration has brought a case against MLA Congress Arif Masood and 2,000 other people for allegedly violating the Crown Rules at Iqbal Maidan in Bhopal.
Meanwhile, the BJP Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has taken a tough stance on the protests, saying: “Madhya Pradesh is an island of peace. We will treat harshly those who have disturbed your peace. In this case, action is being taken by filing a case under section 16 of the Indian Penal Code. No criminal will be released. Whatever it is.
On the other hand, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, people are stomping on a photo of French President Emmanuel Macro on the street. Vehicles have moved through that image. Regarding the protest against Macro, Maulana Abbas Rizvi from Raja Academy said: “Muslims in Mumbai are trampling on the image of the President of France. People, vehicles, dogs and cats are passing by that sign. Such punishment should be imposed on the Prophet (peace be upon him) for his arrogance. ”
On the other hand, on Thursday a protest procession took place at the facilities of the Muslim University of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Students and student leaders chanted slogans against the French president and called for a boycott of products made in France, as well as burning posters of the French president.
Farhan Zubair, a student leader, said the French president’s comments on Islam were “unacceptable.” French-made products are being boycotted around the world. As a result, billions of dollars have been lost in just three days. Through this, France understands what collective power is.
