In France, various Islamist groups have organized mass rallies, demonstrations and protests against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The protests took place not only in Baitul Mukarram but also in other parts of the capital.
Hefazat leader Allama Nur Hossain Kashemi announced the siege of the French embassy in Dhaka on November 2 (Monday) from a protest rally at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram after Friday.
Allama Mamunul Haque, leader of the Khilafah Majlis, said at the rally that today not only at the Baitul Mukarram facilities, but also from Teknaf to Tetulia across the country, millions of Touhidi are taking to the streets after Jumu’ah. Not only in Bangladesh, Muslims around the world have lifted the world’s sky and air with slogans with their fists in hand.
He called on the government to break diplomatic relations with France. Declare the importation of all French products into Bangladesh as a state ban. Send a clear message by summoning the Ambassador of France. The French embassy closes.
Previously, a human chain program was organized in front of the National Press Club at 10 am on the initiative of the Bangladesh Nezame Islam Dhaka Metropolitan Party. The Khilafat Majlis also held protests across the country.
To teach freedom of expression, a teacher at a school in the French capital, Paris, was killed by a teenager of Chechen descent for displaying a controversial cartoon of the Prophet in a classroom. In protest of this incident, caricatures of the Prophet were publicly displayed in France. The cartoon display of the Prophet (peace be upon him) sparked outrage around the world in protest of France’s anti-Islamic stance. Many Muslim-majority countries in various parts of the world, including the Middle East and Asia, have called for a boycott of French products.
Muslims are also protesting on a large scale in Bangladesh. From here also came the call to boycott French products.
