Also, devotees from different areas of the capital, including Kakrail Mosque, Shantinagar, Mouchak, Malibagh, moved to the north gate of the Baitul Mukarram Mosque after Friday prayers. Thousands of faithful gathered in protest.
At the same time, the common faithful marched from the Lalbagh Mosque. The procession gathered at Shaheed Shah Mazar around Palashi. Along the way, ordinary people from different mosques joined the protest. The protesters called for a boycott of French products.
