Today is 12 Rabiul Awal, Friday. The day of the birth and death of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Muslims around the world celebrate this day as holy Eid Miladunnabi (sa). Due to the situation in Corona, Muslim devotees will observe the day in Bangladesh with due dignity.
1,450 years ago, on this day in the Arabian desert, the greatest and last prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born on the lap of mother Amina. He died at the age of 63 on the 12th of Rabiul Awal.
Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to earth with the great message of Tauhid. Islam has preached the religion of peace. His advent and the spread of Islam’s message of peace caused a stir throughout the world. When Arab society plunged into the darkness of paganism, Allah Almighty sent Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a mercy to the whole world. The Prophet (peace be upon him) reached the prophecy at the age of 40. He called on the world to walk the path of liberation and peace. He broke the shackles of all kinds of superstitions, orthodoxies, injustices, injustices and slavery and carried the message of the eternal liberation of humanity. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) preached this message for 23 long years. It has been said in the Holy Quran that God would not have created the world if he had not created the Prophet.
Messages from the President and Prime Minister
On the occasion of the holy Eid Miladunnabi (sa.) President. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have made separate statements. In his message, the President said that in addition to establishing an equal and just society, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has provided guidance in clear language on the dignity and rights of women, the dignity of work, the duties and responsibilities of a teacher. His farewell speech Hajj will always be a beacon for humanity. The first written constitution in the history of the world, the “Letter of Medina”, was a testimony to the wisdom and foresight of the Prophet (peace be upon him). This document contains a universal declaration of the establishment of the just rights and dignity of people from all walks of life, regardless of caste, creed and creed. His teachings must be followed by all mankind in religious and worldly life. On the occasion of Holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH), the president extended his heartfelt greetings and blessings to the Muslim Ummah, including the world.
In her message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that in pursuit of the noble ideals of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) lies the infinite well-being, success and peace of Muslims. In today’s conflict-ridden world, including the Crown epidemic, peace, justice, and prosperity can be guaranteed in the world only by following and worshiping the unique teachings of the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). On the occasion of the day, the Prime Minister wished peace and prosperity to the country, the nation and the Muslim Ummah and the world.
Program
Various organizations, including the Islamic Foundation, have carried out various programs to celebrate holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH) with religious fervor. According to the Ministry of Religion, the national flag will be hoisted in government buildings, semi-government, autonomous institutions, private buildings and all facilities of the armed forces. Banners with the national flag and Kalema Tayyiba are displayed on major traffic islands and lamp posts in the metropolis of Dhaka. Apart from this, there is lighting system in government buildings and important military installations at night. The Islamic Foundation has published a special supplement and is running a 15-day program. These include discussions on the life and work of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), Milad Mahfil, and various other programs. Special programs will be broadcast on Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar and online highlighting the importance of the day. The Children’s Academy will organize special events for children.
Additionally, high-quality food will be served in all hospitals, prisons, government children’s homes, nursing homes, and drug addiction treatment centers. Bangladeshi embassies and missions abroad will duly observe the holy Eid Miladunnabi. On this occasion, special measures have been taken to maintain the normal public order situation throughout the country.
