Tasnim Aziz Rimi, a 10th-class student at the Bhola government girls’ secondary school, acted as the iconic police superintendent for an hour in Bhola.
She urged her superiors to make the seven Bhola upazilas women-friendly and to take maximum measures to prevent violence against women with symbolic responsibility.
Tasnim Aziz Rimi took over as the iconic Police Superintendent from Police Superintendent Sarkar Mohammad Kaiser in the Police Superintendent’s office on Wednesday morning. Everyone is under him for an hour. At that moment the super cop greeted him warmly.
Rimi proposes to provide exemplary punishment for rapists in public with token responsibility. He said that a rape case occurs in the Bhola district every five days. Every 6 hours there is another case of violence against women. Violence against women is increasing day by day.
In the context of violence against women and adolescents, as a girl, I dream of a healthy, safe environment and a beautiful society like millions of other adolescents in this country.
Where no teenager or child has to be raped with thousands of dreams. Where no girl will choose to commit suicide after being raped. The state will take steps to protect all women and children. Rimi called on everyone to move forward to build a rape and mockery-free district of Bhola for women and children.
Police Superintendent Sarkar Mohammad Kaiser said that the development of society without women is not possible. Our society must move forward with women. We must all unite to ensure the protection of women.
