The Israeli spy agency Mossad has seized a Chinese vaccine against the deadly coronavirus. The Israeli media have claimed it.
Israel’s Channel 12 television reported on Monday that Mossad had been able to bring Chinese vaccines to the occupied territory in recent weeks and that they would now learn of the investigation and its preparation.
Several other Israeli sources have indirectly confirmed the news. However, China has yet to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post quoted a senior Israeli health ministry official as saying that Tel Aviv was trying to buy coronavirus vaccines from several other countries. The official said that various diplomatic efforts are underway in this regard.
Mossad has been working closely with the Israel Ministry of Health since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak. Mossad chief Yossi Cohen served as head of the Joint Procurement Command Center for the purchase of medical equipment from February to May. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later raised the matter with the Health Ministry.
