A government primary school teacher was suspended for criticizing the government’s decision to validate a certificate obtained without approval. Tushar Chowdhury, an assistant teacher at the Yashmadhab government primary school in Netrokona’s Bahatta Upazila, criticized the government’s decision on social media Facebook.
Wednesday (October 26) at the Netrokona District Education Officer incident. Obaidullah fired the teacher and sent a copy of the order to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. On Tuesday (October 28), the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued an order validating government primary school certificates obtained without approval. Tushar Chowdhury posted on Facebook criticizing the government order.
Tushar mentioned in his Facebook post, ‘Regular classes, regular jobs, the same person attending two places at the same time, according to official calculations, the teacher has signed up for attendance and students at the university cannot take exams without a minimum attendance of 80 percent. ‘ That conflicts with existing labor rules, subject to regular attendance. This order cannot be issued without a large number of bribery transactions. I draw attention to the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Meanwhile, the order of the ministry read: ‘Many teachers have taken up work while studying and then completed their studies while working. In addition, many teachers have completed the evening course but have not received approval from the authorities due to unconsciousness. If a teacher has acquired qualifying teaching experience without the approval of the authorities, then that qualifying experience should be included in the service book.
According to ministry sources, emphasis has been placed on validating the credentials of teachers from many newly nationalized educational institutions who have studied privately. He has worked as a private teacher for a long time and has also studied to build his career. The government has issued this order with special consideration for the welfare of primary school teachers. But those teachers are criticizing themselves.
