Liton Sardar, 42, from Wazirpur in Barisal has been charged with raping his mother by stabbing her in the neck with a knife.
The housewife’s husband (30) filed a rape case against Liton Sardar at the Wazirpur Model Police Station on Tuesday.
According to the case and the sources of the victims, the husband of the housewife from the Upazila village of Paschim Sholak was in Dhaka due to his work. The housewife, mother of two (25) children, had dinner as usual on October 22 and fell asleep with her one and a half year old daughter, Riya. At 11 at night, to answer the call of nature, open the door of the house and go to the bathroom.
On this occasion, Liton Sardar, the son of Razzak Sardar from the neighboring house, enters the house and hides. Later, the housewife turned off the lights and went to bed. After a while, the lustful Lytton Sardar grabbed the face of the housewife and tried to rape her.
At one stage of the fight, Lytton Sardar threatened to kill the ignorant boy and forcibly raped the housewife. The rapist, Liton, later threatened to kill his son if he told anyone.
The next day, the housewife informed her husband’s family about the matter. When the matter came to light later, the rapists arranged a meeting Tuesday morning to cover up the matter. They hid the housewife for a long time with various threats and intimidation.
After receiving the news, the journalists went to the scene and the meeting was canceled. Wazirpur Model Police Officer in Charge. Ziaul informed Ahsan. SI Mahabub Hossain immediately arrived at the scene, rescued the housewife and took her to the police station.
Subsequently, the husband of the housewife filed a rape complaint against the defendant Liton Sardar.
