Power supply to various parts of the town of Sylhet will be cut for eight hours on Thursday for the repair, maintenance and upkeep of power lines. Power supply to some areas under Sylhet Sales and Distribution Division 2 of the Power Development Board (BUBO) will be cut off from 8 am to 4 pm.
According to the BUBO office Sylhet, Kushighat, Mirapara, Shaplabagh, Muktirachak, Kalyanpur, Tilagarh, Tultikar, Mirerchak, Muradpur, Pirer Chowk, Gasamoy, Mazar Road, Shahparan Thana, Sadatikar, Sadipur-2, Sonapur, Murachadlankapur Bypass, Kanibastayapur Bypass the surrounding areas will be without power supply from 8 am to 4 pm.
Morshed Manjurul Islam, an executive engineer for Bubo Sylhet’s Sales and Distribution Division 2, told Prothom Alo that the power supply would be temporarily cut off for eight hours on Thursday for emergency repair, maintenance and maintenance work. He regretted to customers that if repairs and maintenance work were completed ahead of schedule, the electrical connection would be connected immediately.
