Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan have already harshly criticized French President Macron. This time criticism was heard in the face of Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif. According to him, Macron is rooting for extremists by supporting the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The Iranian foreign minister believes that the imperialist powers and their allies are creating an atmosphere of hatred. His blow is falling on ordinary Muslims. Some extremists have done something that is insulting 1.9 billion Muslims around the world, hurting their religious feelings. He said extremists will cheer up as a result.
But Iran is not yet on track to boycott French products like the Arab countries. The religious leaders there have yet to issue such a fatwa. Rather, politicians and religious leaders have spoken out against Macron’s “irrational position.” They say cartoons should no longer be published. The speaker of Iran’s parliament has said that France is having an unnecessary and senseless enmity with the Prophet.
Samuel Patti, a teacher in France, showed a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in class and explained the right to express one’s opinion. He was later killed by a 19-year-old Chechen boy. France has been upset about this. President Macron later said he would not give up. Be in favor of the right to express your own opinion.
