The High Court has ordered the musician Ferdous Wahid’s two nieces to guarantee immediate entry to their father Mostafa Jaglul Wahid’s house at 95 Gulshan-2. The officer in charge of the Gulshan Police Station was asked to implement the directive and strengthen police security at the home until November 1.
After noting the reports published in some media on Monday (October 26) at 6:15 pm, Judge Md. The virtual high court composed of Nazrul Islam Talukder and Judge Ahmed Sohail approved the order on their own initiative.
The court said in its order that after confirming the entry and location of the two girls at the home on Monday night, the Gulshan Police Station CO would report the progress to the Supreme Court special officer by phone in the evening. In addition, he will ensure the safety of the two sisters in the house until November 1. Furthermore, the CO of Gulshan Police Station together with two daughters and Anju Kapoor, who was staying at the house, have been invited to appear in High Court on 1 November.
The deputy attorney general of the court AKM Amin Uddin Manik confirmed the court order.
Previously, the news was published in various media. According to those reports, the house is located on about 10 kathas of land. After the owner’s death, his two daughters took a stand in front of the house in a property dispute. The two sisters claim that the possession of the house is in the hands of Anju Kapoor, the father’s second wife. It does not allow them to enter the house at all. Mostafa Jaglul died on October 10.
Mostafa Jaglul Wahid was a pilot by profession. There is no one among the brothers in Bangladesh except the musician Ferdous Wahid. Mushfiqa and Mobashera, two daughters of Mostafa Jaglul Wahid, stood in front of the house for two days. They tried to enter the house but failed.
Mushfiqa told the media: ‘She founded her family in 1974 in this house in Gulshan with her parents. They were born in this house. His parents separated in 2005.
Later, his father married an Indian woman named Anju Kapoor. He is now the sole occupant of the house, according to the report.
