Dhaka: RAB raided Irfan Selim’s house and recovered the forbidden wireless network system, foreign liquor, weapons, Chinese ax, etc.

At one stage of the raid on Monday afternoon (October 28), the home of Haji Selim’s Chan Sardar Dada was raided by reporters, who were found with weapons, drugs and a prohibited network system.

Irfan and his bodyguard are still in RAB custody inside the house. The campaign still continues.

Speaking with RAB officials at the scene, it emerged that Haji Selim’s son has placed Puran Dhaka under his control and on a full wireless network to gather information. For this he illegally used the VPS device. This device cannot track law enforcement. Made this VPS networking system without government approval.

Through these devices, he was able to collect information about all of Old Dhaka from the comfort of his home.

These wireless system kits and 36 black walkie-talkies were recovered from the fourth and fifth floors of Dada Bari Bhaban. That its use is not allowed without government officials. From there, Lodet got hold of a foreign (American) pistol, a Chinese ax, six bottles of foreign wine, and several beers.

RAB officials say he installed a wireless network system in his home through this VPS device without BTRC approval.

These are generally not approved by the government, except by law enforcement. Additionally, these wireless devices can never be tracked by members of law enforcement.
