Pakistan is summoning the French ambassador

The French Foreign Ministry is summoning the French ambassador to Pakistan.

Pakistan recently summoned French Ambassador Emmanuel Macron for insulting Islam and hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a statement on Monday. Anadolu News.

The statement said that reckless comments by French President Emmanuel Macron have created a tense situation in Pakistan, as well as other countries around the world.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also mentioned that Pakistan has proposed discussing Islamophobia at the OIC annual meeting to be held on March 15 next year.

No one has the right to hurt the religious beliefs of millions of Muslims around the world. He called on the United Nations to take action against those who spread such hatred.

Earlier this month, Emmanuel Macron, the president of the French Muslims who protested the publication of a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad, called it “individual freedom” and threatened to crack down on them.
