The bombardment continued Sunday night. Continuous shift, guilty and counter-guilty. Among them, Armenia and Azerbaijan accepted the ceasefire offer for the third time since 8 am on Monday. The two countries have had a long meeting since Friday, mediated by the United States. By the end of Sunday, the two sides had reached a humanitarian decision for a third ceasefire.

But the Azerbaijani foreign minister said Monday morning that Armenia had violated the ceasefire in the cities of Tartar and Lachin. Armenia has also demanded retaliation.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have been at war for almost a month over Nagorno-Karabakh. Russia has been trying to lead the two countries to peace talks from the beginning. Twice a ceasefire was proposed, mediated by Russia.

But the two countries are alleged to have violated the ceasefire within minutes. Meanwhile, Moscow brought the two countries back to the negotiating table last week. The Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers met in Moscow on Thursday in the presence of the foreign minister. But it was not undone.

Representatives from Armenia and Azerbaijan then met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and then with US diplomats. After a long meeting, a new ceasefire was decided on Sunday night. The United States, Azerbaijan and Armenia issued a joint statement. It is said that starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, a ceasefire was declared on humanitarian grounds.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said on Sunday that they had multiplied the number of troops on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. They said the move was aimed at preventing Iran from damaging the two countries’ wars. In fact, Iran has previously claimed that a border area between the two countries was destroyed by the shelling.
