In Baniachang de Habiganj, a housewife named Jonaki (21) left her husband and children and ran away from her boyfriend. A month later, on Saturday night, the mafia arrested the killer’s lover while leaving his body on the side of the Habiganj-Baniachang highway.

The deceased has a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter named Tanni and a six-year-old boy named Bayazid. The name of the murderer arrested is Anik Pandey (31). He is the son of the late Mrinal alias Manik Pandey from the village of Kastgarh in the same upazila.
Hena Begum, the mother of the deceased, said that about a month and a half ago, she left her husband and son and fled with her daughter Anik Pandey. Anik called Hena Begum on Saturday afternoon and informed her that her daughter Jonaki had died due to an injury to the ceiling fan. He’s sending the body by ambulance. Soon after, pedestrians on the Habiganj-Baniachang highway saw the body of a woman lying next to a girl.
Defendant Anik Pandey was arrested by locals while fleeing through a roadside canal and handed over to the police.
The victim’s mother said that she had ruined the life of my daughter and her children. I want justice for the murder of my daughter.
Baniachang OC police said. Emran Hossain said the body was recovered. An autopsy will be performed on the body. The accused detainee Anik is being questioned.
