Witnesses said the creators of Nusrat paid tribute in the “no-entry zone” of the mandapa designated by the High Court. The controversy was born from there. Because, the two judges of the Divisional Chamber of the Calcutta High Court gave clear instructions. A ‘no entry zone’ should be created by placing barricades around the mandapa. The court had ordered that some people be allowed to enter the ‘forbidden’ area on behalf of businessmen in need of worship.
Lawyers in the puja case will use the Mithila-Nusrat mob incident in the mandapa as a “tool” in court. According to the petitioner’s lawyers in the case, the court order applies to everyone. In that case, it is necessary for the people’s representatives to play a more positive role in enforcing the rules. But it was not actually seen.
The state will have to submit an affidavit to the court on the degree to which the court order was carried out after Lakshmi Puja. According to the lawyers involved in the bidding case, the plaintiff can use the incident as a tool during the next hearing. However, no definitive answer has been received as to whether the complainant will send a legal notice to Nusrat, Mithila or Srijit.
