Before arresting Jhumur, the police rescued Sadia from her home and sent her to hospital.
Sadia’s father, Saiful Islam, Nana Mohammad Ali and other relatives have demanded justice.
Sreevardi Police Station OC Mohammad Ruhul Amin Talukder said: “Sadia’s torture case will now turn into a murder case. A report will soon be sent to the appropriate section of the court, subject to investigation. We are trying to take the case to court as soon as possible. “
