The application process for the teacher selection exam in government elementary schools will begin tomorrow on Sunday (October 25). The application process will continue until November 24. The Department of Elementary Education (DPE) has said that the recruitment test will begin within the next two months after application.
Confirming the matter, DPE Deputy Director Atiq Bin Sattar told Jago News on Saturday (October 24): “The online application process for the recruitment of primary teachers will start from tomorrow (Sunday). Written examination for recruitment can be started within two months of application.The recruitment test will be completed in the current financial year (in June), then work on publishing results will begin
He said: ‘Depending on the number of applicants, a decision will be made on the number of steps to take. If the number of applicants is less, it will be possible to complete the recruitment test in a short time. If the number of candidates is greater, it will take longer to complete the written test. However, almost three times more candidates will be selected by written test than the total number of vacancies.
Meanwhile, a notice was issued for the appointment of assistant teachers in government elementary schools. Through this, 32 thousand teachers will be appointed. However, if the number of vacant positions increases, it is known that this number will continue to increase. Candidates from three mountainous districts of Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban will not be allowed to run.
According to the notification, the online application will be accepted starting at 10:30 am on October 25. It will end on November 24 at 11:59 pm. The salary of assistant teachers will be Rs 11000-27590 according to the 13th grade of the national salary scale, 2015.
According to the notification, the age of the candidates is a minimum of 21 years until October 20 and a maximum of 30 years until March 25. In the case of children of freedom fighters and physically disabled, the age limit will be 32 years until March 25.
Educational Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s or Honors or equivalent degree with a second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university.
The application fee has been set at Rs 110. Hiring notices will be published tomorrow in four national newspapers. The details of the notification can be found on the respective websites.
According to DPE sources, through this year’s notification, 25,630 pre-primary teachers and 6,946 assistant teachers will be appointed vacant throughout the country.
