The investigating officer of the case, the Detective Branch of the Police Inspector (DB). Zakir Hossain said the two were arrested at separate locations in Charjabbar Union on Thursday night. On Friday, the two defendants were sent to court seeking preventive detention for five days. The court denied them bail and sent them to district jail. Humayun Kabir, the son of the murdered woman, first brought a murder case against the unidentified defendant. At one stage of the investigation as a suspect. Nirab and the butcher Nur Islam were arrested.
During his questioning, information emerged that the plaintiff in the murder case was involved. Later, the police brought another case against Humayun. Humayun, who was arrested in that case, gave a confessional statement.
