Citing information obtained during questioning, he said: “Rahanur’s older brother has stayed at Shahinur’s home since he left his wife. Sabina used to listen to Rahanur because he was unemployed and she used to scold him for being unemployed. Enraged by this, Rahanur planned to kill him.
“He mixed a lot of sleeping pills with soda. Then Rahanur returned home. A few hours later, he entered his brother’s house through the attic on the ledge. He entered the house and killed his brother with one blow. Then Bhabir tied his legs and killed him with machetes. He then killed his two sons with machetes in the same way. “
