At the beginning of September 8, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated a special flight on the Dhaka-Doha-Beirut-Dhaka route to repatriate Bangladeshi citizens stranded in Lebanon. The Dhaka-Doha flight was carrying mainly cargo and passengers to Beirut. The Biman special flight BG 4025 left Dhaka for Doha with two passengers and 31,138 kg of cargo with a special permit. On the way back, BG 4027 arrived in Dhaka with 406 passengers from Beirut.

It is worth mentioning that this was the sixth flight to carry stranded Bangladeshis from Beirut to Dhaka on Boeing 8s.
