The CID police have revealed the mystery behind the murder of four members of the same family in Kalaroa, Satkhira. At the same time, according to the confession of Raihanul, the younger brother of the murdered Shahinur, the sharpened weapon and the towel used in the murder have been recovered. He said that Shahinur’s younger brother, Raihanul Islam, had committed the murder alone. He killed them in a family fight. He divorced his wife 9-10 months ago. That is why he used to eat and drink with his older brother’s family. But his wife Sabina Khatun often scolded him for eating and drinking. With all this, anger was born in him. At one point he decided to kill Sabina Khatun. So on the night of October 14, he bought Disopen sleeping pills at the drugstore and Speed at the local grocery store. After eating rice at night, he mixes sleeping pills with soda and lets his sister-in-law and nephew eat them.
Raihanul, the killer of the night, was watching an IPL game on television at his older brother’s house. Around 1.30 pm, older brother Shahinur Rahman came home from his fish farm and saw younger brother Raihanul sitting in his room (older brother’s home) watching television. At the time, his older brother, Shahinur, scolded him for watching late-night television. The older brother scolded him and said: ‘You don’t pay the electricity bill, why are you watching TV?’ In response, Raihanul said to his brother, “I’ll pay the electricity bill for this month. You eat this speed.” The older brother then eats the speed he was given. Then sometime during the night, he climbed onto the ledge of the house and climbed onto the roof of his older brother’s house. Chile then enters the room through the bedroom door (the small room at the top of the stairs) and first kills and kills the older brother while he sleeps. At this time he was shot in the head. Later, Bhabi, who was in the next room, was killed in the same way. The nephew and niece woke up when Bhabi screamed during the murder. Then Raihanul killed them by cutting their throats. Later he threw the knife used in the murder into a large pond next to the house.

It can be mentioned that Shahinur Rahman, his wife Sabina Khatun, their son Mahi and their daughter Tasnim were strangled to death in the Khalsi village of Helatla union in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira on Thursday (October 15). Fortunately, her four-month-old daughter Maria survived.
