No memorial or publication of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi, former Emir of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, can be published without the consent of his family.
According to the family, there is a great risk that his undisputed life will be disputed if the memoirs are published without objective investigation.
The call was made at a press conference jointly hosted by Islah Bangladesh and her family at Anjuman Dawa, a spiritual organization founded by Allama Shafi (ra) at the National Press Club on Wednesday.
Family members, including his two sons Maulana Mohammad Yusuf and Maulana Anas Madani, were present at the event organized to mark the publication of the Allama Shafi commemorative book.
In a written statement, Maulana Anas Madani said that the family of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi and his artisan organization Anjuman Dawaate Islah have decided to publish a rich memoir about his colorful life in a joint venture.
In this situation, no one should publish a memo about Allama Shafi at the moment. Because there is a strong risk that his undisputed life will be disputed if the memoirs are published without an objective investigation.
The speech says that Allama Ahmad Shafi has served religion in many ways for nearly 70 years of his career. He has made a great contribution to the Muslim Ummah. Everyone has a duty to preserve the various aspects of his colorful life.
Hair research has been done in the past on their working lives, and many are even doing PhDs in their lifetime. That is why there is a strong demand from different parts of the country and abroad to publish his colorful life on paper as a souvenir.
In this context, the family of Allama Ahmad Shafi and his artisan organization Anjuman have decided to publish a colorful memorandum on the joint initiative of Dawa Islah.
Anas Madani said that it is essential to conduct a very objective investigation into all aspects of Allama Ahmad Shafi’s life. Therefore, for the time being, no one except Islah Bangladesh should publish an invitation memorandum from her family and their Anjuman artisan spiritual organization.
The press conference also asked the memorial committee to cooperate with the writings and information of the caliphs, disciples, students and supporters of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi throughout the country and abroad.
