The Apex tire factory caught fire in Tejgaon, the capital. In the water crisis, the fire service has to work hard to control the fire. After trying for about two hours, the fire was brought under control, but most of the factory was burned down. The fire spread panic in the surroundings.
Debashish Vardhan, deputy director of the fire service, told reporters from the scene: “The fire was brought under control at 5:05 am. Now firefighting and dumping work continues. However, the origin of the fire has not yet been confirmed. We will form an investigation committee on this. The investigation committee will say where the fire started and how much damage has been done. At the moment there is no possibility of increasing the speed of the fire.
Earlier on Tuesday (October 20), a sudden fire broke out in the middle of the night. The fire at the Apex Tire factory in the capital’s Tejgaon spread immediately. As time goes on, the situation becomes more and more horrible. One by one, 12 units of the fire brigade joined the fire fighting. But firefighters have to fight the water crisis.
Locals complained that the fire was less severe at first, but the situation worsened due to inattention. At one stage of the fire, there was a loud explosion inside the factory. This caused panic in the surroundings. Traffic in the area is also controlled to avoid any type of accident.
