This year’s HSC and equivalent exams were not taken in the situation caused by the corona epidemic. However, there will be an admission test to the university. In case of admission test, Dhaka University (DU) will follow the above path without connecting. The test will be carried out in the presence of the students.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Dean’s Dean’s Committee on Tuesday, Professor Sadeka Halim, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, confirmed to The Daily Star.
He said the test center would be based on the administrative department.
The DU admission test was taken in total 200 points. Of these, 80 points were awarded based on GPA from the SSC and HSC exams. The remaining 120 numbers were tested. The MCQ questions were numbered 75 and the written questions were numbered 45.
This time it will be reduced. The test will have a total of 100 points, of which 20 points will be awarded based on GPA and the remaining 60 points will be awarded.
However, it has not yet been decided how many of these 60 points will be assigned to the MCQ and how many points will be assigned to written questions, said Professor Sadeka Halim.
