Dhaka: Police have recovered the body of an unidentified one and a half year old boy from Hazaribagh Park in the capital. Police have not yet been able to identify the dead child.
The girl’s body was recovered around 9 a.m. on Tuesday (October 20).
The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Hazaribagh Police Station, Sajedur Rahman, confirmed the matter.
He said that in the morning he received news from locals that the body of a child was lying on the east side of Hazaribagh Park. Later I went to the place and saw the boy’s body in a garbage can. The girl is wearing a blue vest and brown shorts.
The OC added that no signs of injury were found on the girl’s body. However, the idea is that someone killed him and left him here. An autopsy report will confirm the cause of death. Attempts are also being made to identify the child.
