Dhaka: The Minister of Education said about the annual exam. Dipu Moni will attend the press conference on Wednesday (October 21). The education minister will hold a virtual press conference at 12 noon, said MA Khair, the ministry’s information and public relations officer.
Due to the crown, educational institutions have been closed since last March and the educational sector has almost stagnated. The government has been holding online, TV and radio conferences to maintain continuity of teaching if academic activities in classrooms are closed.
The fifth elementary and ibtedayi final exam, the eighth JSC-JDC exam, and the last HSC and equivalent exams were canceled this year. The decision will be made based on the average of HSC students’ JSC and SSC test scores, even if it is decided to promote them to the next class by testing them at their respective schools rather than completing the elementary and eighth level.
The Minister of Education, Dipu Moni, will offer a press conference to inform how the sixth, seventh and ninth grade students will be evaluated at secondary level.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education is considering evaluating its own schools from pre-primary to fourth grade amid the uncertainty about the opening of educational institutions this year.
