The Department of Primary Education announced Monday the hiring of 32,056 assistant teachers in government elementary schools. Job seekers will be able to apply online starting October 25. Under the new hiring policy, this time female candidates will not be able to apply without the first graduation pass. Eligibility to apply for male candidates remains the same as before.
How to apply: According to the notification, the online application will be accepted starting at 10:30 am on October 25. It will end on November 24 at 11:59 pm.
Candidates for this position must apply online. Instructions for completing the online application form can be found by accessing the website http://dpe.telelalk.com.bd. The online application form must be completed according to the relevant instructions.
After completing and submitting the online application form, the application copy should be printed. You must submit the application fee along with the user ID of the duly completed application copy. Once the application fee has been submitted, the application form cannot be modified or withdrawn under any circumstances. Only candidates with user ID will be able to pay the fee by SMS for the next 72 hours.
The applicant will receive a user ID and password. The candidate must keep this username and password at all times. Candidates must send Rs 110, including any non-refundable service charge for the exam fee, from any Teletalk prepaid mobile number via SMS on time.
Age limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old on October 20, 2020 and no more than 30 years old by March 25, 2020. The age limit for children of freedom fighters and the physically disabled will be 32 years. The age determination affidavit is not admissible.
Academic preparation: Must have a Bachelor’s or Honors or equivalent degree with a second class or CGPS equivalent from any recognized university.
Application fee: 110 rupees. Of which 100 taka non-refundable application fee and 10 taka Teletalk service charge.
Selection process: Previously, in the position of Assistant Professor, the written test in the MCQ system of 60 points and the oral test in 20 points was taken. There were questions about Bengali, math, English, and general knowledge. However, the question of how many brands will be tested in this engagement has yet to be finalized. The dates of these exams will be announced later on the department’s website and in various newspapers, according to department sources.
Required documents: Photocopy of the application submitted online along with the application form, two passport size photographs, all original or temporary certificates of educational qualification attested by the 1st class government official and the certificate issued by the president of the Parishad Union / municipal mayor / councilor of the municipal corporation in question after passing the written exam. The necessary documents should be sent to the appropriate district elementary education office.
Salary: 11000-26590 (grade 13) (according to the national salary scale, 2015).
According to DPE sources, through this year’s notification, 25,630 pre-primary teachers and 6,948 assistant teachers will be appointed vacant throughout the country.
