Madrasah authorities are in danger of composing their own music to the Bangladeshi national anthem and singing it with children and students. The local administration has closed Siddheswari Darul Quran Al Arabiyah Madrasa in Muradnagar upazila of Comilla after the matter went viral.
On Sunday (October 18) at noon, the upazila administration went to the madrasa with the police and temporarily closed the madrasa. Muradnagar Upazila Executive Officer Abhishek Das confirmed the matter.
Meanwhile, the madrasa’s Muhtamim Najibullah Afsari, in a video message on his Facebook ID on Monday, apologized to the nation and called for the controversial video to be removed from the IDs of all his followers.
According to local sources, the madrasa’s Muhtamim Najibullah Afsari posted it on his Facebook id last week after singing his own song titled ‘Amar Dayar Allah’ in the style of the Bangladeshi national anthem.
The entire melody of this music is in the form of a national anthem. He shared this music on his Facebook ID on October 13. Then on October 15 he uploaded it to his YouTube channel ‘Najibullah TV’.
He removed the post last Saturday when the matter went viral on social media. But when the Upazila administration found out about the matter, they went to the madrasa around 2 p.m. Sunday and temporarily closed the madrasa. Muradnagar’s officer Upazila Nirbahi Abhishek Das and Muradnagar’s police officer in charge, Nahid Ahmed, were present at the time.
In this regard, Muradnagar Upazila Nirbahi, officer Abhishek Das, said that Muradnagar’s madrasa teacher had made his own music by copying the national anthem. When we learned of the matter, we contacted the copyright office and announced the closure of the unregistered madrasa.
However, the accused professor could not be found at the madrasa. On his mobile phone, he was asked to delete his own copied music from social media and to apologize to the nation through another video.
In this regard, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Muradnagar Police Station, Nahid Ahmed, said that the Muhtamim of the madrasa uploaded an Islamic song to the sound of the melody and imitation of the national anthem with the students on the Facebook and YouTube channel, which is a clear violation of copyright law. We are thinking about what kind of action can be taken in this regard.
Meanwhile, in a video message posted on his Facebook page on Monday, the madrasa teacher apologized to the people and the administration for the incident, saying, “He composed an Islamic song to the melody of the national anthem due to his ignorance. customary law “. After posting this music on Facebook and YouTube, many people commented that it was the national anthem, in fact they never reported it as the national anthem.
