A 19-year-old man brutally raped and tortured a young woman in the village of Sovarampur in Burichang upazila de Comilla. In addition, the girl was beaten and her mother Shilpi Begum, Nana Liaquat Ali and the people of Bachir cut her hair.
The girl has filed a case with the Burichang Police Station on behalf of the four. The injured girl is currently admitted to the Burichang Upazila Health Complex.
According to the complaint, on the morning of October 12, the girl was kidnapped against her will from the front of the house with the promise of marriage. Bachir, son of Mokhlesur Rahman. Later, he kept her in a house for five days and raped her more than once until Saturday morning.
Later, he took the girl home to the village of Bachir. There, Bachir’s mother and grandparents beat and tortured him and cut his hair with a sharp blade. Liaquat Ali helped in this.
On Saturday night, the girl’s relatives found her and rescued her with the help of the local population and admitted her to the Burichang Upazila Health Complex.
Burichang OC Mozammel Hossain Police Station said: “I visited the place after receiving the complaint.” The accused have been detained. By talking to local people, the truth of the incident was discovered.
