Former Minister of State and President of BNP South Mymensingh District AKM Mosharraf Hossain was buried in the family cemetery in Kandigaon village of Muktagachha upazila after three rounds of janaza.
Earlier today, the first janaza of AKM Mosharraf Hossain took place in front of his residence in Mymensingh after Johar. Maulana Shafiqul Islam led the janaza.

Thousands of people gathered at the funeral. Thousands of people defended Janaza on the main thoroughfare of the city as there was no space in front of the house. The BNP vice president said at the funeral. AZM Zahid Hossain, Organizational Secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Former MP Abul Bashar Akand, Shah Shahid Sarwar, Shah Nurul Kabir Shahin, Mymensingh Metropolitan BNP Coordinator Professor Shafiqul Islam, Joint Coordinator Abu Wahab Akand, BNP Secretary General of the District of Jamalpur Wares Ali Mamun Zakir Hossain Bablu, BNP Mymensingh District Joint Coordinator, younger brother of the deceased, Rana, son of the deceased, a large number of BNP leaders and their affiliates participated in the meeting.

Although the janaza was supposed to take place in the central Eidgah ground in Mymensingh, the police prevented the janaza in the Eidgah ground to avoid infection as he died of coronavirus infection. Huge policemen were deployed in front of his residence. Later, janaza was performed in front of the residence.
